INDIANAPOLIS (October 9, 2017) – CEDIA has announced that it is set to collaborate for the second year with NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) and NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) in Design and Construction Week 2018. The organization has signed on to support and drive the success of the CEDIA Technology Solutions Pavilion which will be located on DCW Highway in the West Hall of the Orlando Convention Center.

"Design and Construction Week is a valuable connection point for CEDIA to bridge the gap between home technology professionals and the design and build community," said Dave Chic, CEDIA Senior Director of Industry Relations. "Those who participated in the pavilion last year saw it as a wonderful opportunity to showcase how technology can be seamlessly integrated into the home and how our two overlapping industries can work collaboratively."

CEDIA will once again participate in the Design and Construction Week Roundtable to discuss issues and trends in the US housing market and exchange ideas with other industry thought leaders. In addition, CEDIA will offer 10 CEDIA Talks, three classes, and two panel sessions at Design and Construction Week 2018.

Chic said, "Last year our panels were standing-room only, filled with specifiers looking for guidance on how to best engage with technology and those that install it. The best part was after each panel, our booth was packed with these participants wanting to learn who the CEDIA members were in their region."

Additional details about these educational offerings will be available soon.

DCW, the co-location of IBS and the NKBA Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), will be held Jan. 9-11 in Orlando, Fla. CEDIA member manufacturers interested in participating in the CEDIA Technology Solutions Pavilions should contact Michael Currier from NAHB at mcurrier@nahb.com.
