Achievers wanted! Sight & Sound Systems, Inc. (SASSI) is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a rapidly-growing team of residential system integration professionals. We are a premier provider for home entertainment, networking, security, and automation solutions. The Sales Manager will:
  • Demonstrate leadership as a role model for the sales team
  • Set high standards for quality and professionalism

  • Represent SASSI's values and business interests positively in all interactions
  • Assume primary managerial responsibility for sales processes and programs, departmental policies, and administrative activities
  • Lead a team of direct reports that includes all sales representatives and sales assistants
  • Set sales objectives or quotas for all staff and monitor their performance; act to correct deficiencies through coaching, training, and mentoring; recognize positive performance
  • Focus the team's efforts, both daily and over time; maintain discipline among the team and adherence to SASSI policies; promote a positive team environment
  • Review sales orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Work proactively to ensure that the sales process is executed flawlessly for every client throughout the entire project lifecycle; contribute positively to measures of sales volume and profitability
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting client and stakeholder relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs; follow-up on sales leads
  • Analyze sales, revenue, and expense data; prepare and present realistic forecasts of sales volume and profit to the management team; recommend changes or improvements for better customer satisfaction and future revenue
  • Coordinate with the Chief Engineer and technical staff on updates to product package options
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status 
  • Establish and adjust product offerings and prices in collaboration with senior management according to costs, competition, and supply and demand with the goal of growing sales
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
  • Complete sales operational requirements by overseeing sales team staffing requirements and work schedules
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed 
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS degree in business administration or a related field
  • 5 years progressive experience in sales, management, customer service or related field
  • 3 years audio-visual industry experience
  • Demonstrated sales and team leadership results; ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to translate data and sales statistics (productivity) into solutions for future growth
  • Experienced at preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects; experienced at compiling and following strict budgets
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5-7 years audio-visual industry experience
  • Industry certification
