Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH Network has an employment opportunity for individuals with energy, intellect, and the need to achieve as an Account Manager - Custom Integration. **This position will sit out of the Salt Lake City, UT area**

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
  • Reviews market conditions to determine dealer needs, areas of opportunity and key market advantages for DISH
  • Qualify sales partner prospects
  • Educate prospects on DISH Business Portfolio and short and long term benefits of a DISH sales partnership (SlingTV, DISHTV, Wireless)
  • Directs Custom Integration channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by identifying new points of sale  
  • Advises dealers, distributors, and specifiers on product use cases, sales and marketing techniques
  • Represents company at regional industry events within the CEDIA community to promote product and sales programs
  • Working closely with owners and management of our independent dealers and retailers to develop sales and marketing strategies and improve customer retention
  • Teaming with sales partners to review sales pipelines and leverage opportunities to include DISH product
  • Detailed and accurate tracking of business activities
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition
Skills - Experience and Requirements
A successful Account Manager will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; 3+ years experience in CEDIA industry, 1-2 years outbound sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A successful Account Manager will become knowledgeable in every facet of their dealers’ business including but not limited to: short and long term goals, local competition, control system integration, video distribution, customer base, turnover, hiring practices, etc. We seek candidates with financial, marketing, sales and business development acumens
  • Effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff
  • Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
  • High level of computer expertise, including use of internet, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com hosted CRM platform for lead and account reporting
  • Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage time and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment
  • Ability to travel 60-80% of the time
  • Must maintain valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
