Training, Credentialing, and Upskilling Workers 

CEDIA is working to develop a pipeline of skilled talent for the systems integration industry by training, credentialing, and upskilling workers through holistic occupational skills training programs designed to provide individuals with the knowledge, vocational skills, and credentials they need to obtain employment and advance their careers. 

We currently offer our training programs at our offices in suburban Indianapolis, IN (USA) and St Neots, Cambridgeshire (UK).

Start Your Career With CEDIA

CEDIA launched our Electronic System Integration Technician Training Program, a 108-hour entry-level occupational skills training program in 2019. This program provides individuals with the foundational knowledge, vocational skills, and credentials they need to obtain entry-level employment in the system integration industry. Learn how to install, configure, integrate, and maintain audio/video, networking, telecom, control and integration, user Interface, lighting, surveillance and security systems, and have an opportunity to earn CEDIA Certified credentials

2019 Results

  • Piloted from April to August 2019 at CEDIA‚Äôs global headquarters in suburban Indianapolis
  • 8 individuals completed the program
  • 7 (88%) have earned EST credentials
  • 8 (100%) have earned ESC credentials
  • Three obtained employment with residential, commercial, and high voltage electric technology firms and one is working with an IT related staffing agency
  • One has retained employment with a business technology company
  • Placement assistance is being provided to the remaining program graduates
