Now that you’ve decided CEDIA's Electronic Systems Certified- Technician (ESC-T) Spanish exam is right for you, follow these simple steps to get started.

Step 1: Take the FREE Pre-Test Assessment. This tool allows you to better determine your course of study and help you decide if you are prepared to take the certification exam. After registering, the Pre-Test Assessment will be available for 90 days.

Step 2: Evaluate your Pre-Test Assessment results. If you passed and feel you are ready to take the exam, register for the exam . If you did not pass or feel you need to prepare more, analyze your scores against the ESC-T Job Task Analysis . Carefully evaluate your results of the Pre-Test Assessment in each of the seven domains. Review the Exam Preparation Resources Guide and visit CEDIA Training to help decide your course of study.

The recommended study guide for the ESC-T exam is the CEDIA Advanced Residential Electronics, Third Edition book.

Step 3: Register for the exam below. Computer-based exams are available at testing centers around the world or onsite at CEDIA trainings. Visit Kryterion Global Testing Solutions to confirm a location near you.

Exam & Certification Details

The Electronic Systems Certification - Technician (ESC-T) exam is 100 questions. A passing score of 70% is required to pass the exam and earn the ESC-T professional certification.

CEDIA certified professionals are required to obtain 30 continuing education units (CEUs) in a three-year period to maintain their certification status. CEUs are provided through CEDIA trainings and approved CEU Providers.

To receive credit for Manufacturer training you have attended, please fill out the CEU Petition Form for approval.
