The CEDIA Integrated Systems Technician School and
supplemental textbook supports cabling and infrastructure technicians to take
the next step in their professional development. The training is aimed at
individuals who aim to advance their career through a deeper understanding of
the fundamentals of systems integration. With a focus on specific applications
for technology installation and configuration, the content in this pathway
provides the foundational knowledge to begin working as an Integrated Systems
Technician with minimal supervision.

- Systems commissioning for project completion.
Registration grants you access to CEDIA's
IST Pathway on CEDIA Academy - our newly developed online Learning
Management System (LMS) - with over 22 hours of technical education, designed to
reduce lengthy classroom time as well as allowing for completion in an
asynchronous, self-paced environment.
The in-person portion of this course is taught by CEDIA
subject matter experts to support and expand upon the vast technical knowledge
from the CEDIA Academy. This 3-day course involves hands-on activities that
are designed to give you a feel for those on-the-job tasks.
Certification
Included with this product package is a
voucher for the
CEDIA
Certified Integrated Systems Technician exam.Certification represents competency in a defined set of knowledge
and skills, adherence to the CEDIA Certification Code of Conduct and an ongoing
commitment to professional growth. Candidates for this certification
must currently hold the CIT Certification, meet the experience eligibility
requirement, and submit a sperate application before they can be approved to
