This list is for information purposes and not designed to be comprehensive. The ESC-D exam includes scenario-based questions which require the candidate to apply their knowledge and experience to select the best option. 

ESC-D Practice Test

The 55-question practice test provides examples of the types of questions on the exam. Upon completion the test taker will see the results and receive an emailed score report. The practice is not designed to be comprehensive.

Option 1: ESC-D Practice Test – Designed to simulate a test environment. Correct answers are not shown, and candidates receive a score report at the end which shows performance by domain. 

Option 2: ESC-D Practice Test – Correct answers are shown after each question is answered. The final results include a report shat shows performance by domain.

Computer-based exams are available at testing centers around the world. Visit Kryterion Global Testing Solutions  to confirm a location near you.

Once you register for the exam you will receive an email from CEDIA within two business days with a voucher and link to the Webassessor portal to schedule your exam time and location. You have 90 days to take the exam from the date you register with CEDIA.

Description

The Electronic Systems Certification - Designer (ESC-D) exam is 100 questions. A  passing score of 70% is required to pass the exam and earn the ESC-D professional certification.

CEDIA certified professionals are required to obtain 30 continuing education units (CEUs) in a three-year period to maintain their certification status. CEUs are provided through CEDIA trainings and approved CEU Providers. To receive credit for Manufacturer training you have attended, please fill out the CEU Petition Form  for approval. Keep track of your CEU status by reviewing your transcript. Log in to cedia.net and select My CEDIA then My Training.
