This property was being completely gutted and the interior layouts were being changed and extended to create a luxury home. The kitchen/dining/bar/snug area is a large open-plan space. In order to ensure good sound quality for this large area, the
in-ceiling Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers were enhanced with four discreetly located, in-wall Triad subwoofers.
When the cinema in the dedicated space is turned off, a “purge cycle” is activated with the air conditioning and air circulation system to refresh the room as many of the homeowner’s friends are smokers.
Cyberhomes designed a lighting control system for a large custom-made fish tank full of tropical fish that can simulate storms with lightning. The team also made it possible for a CCTV camera to be attached to the tank so that the owner can monitor
it remotely. The project took a “Highly Commended” nod in the 2018 CEDIA Awards (Integrated Home, Level III, EMEA).
