Integrators are a key sales channel and implementation partner for CEDIA manufacturer members. For the benefit of our manufacturer, distributor, and manufacturer rep members, CEDIA has sponsored new research that takes a peek inside integrators’ daily realities, challenges, and decision-making processes. Integrators come in all different shapes and sizes – and that means their needs from their partners are often different.
In this global research project conducted in partnership with Butler University, we interviewed over 600 integrators in six countries, including both CEDIA members and non-members. We have learned more about how they determine which products they want to work with, what they expect from partners, their biggest business challenges, concerns and frustrations, and what factors influence the level of support they require.
In this webinar, we will review a new segmentation of integrators based on the end-customer market segments they serve (defined as: Uber-Luxury, Luxury, Mid-Market and Mass-Market). We will outline how each segment of integrators is unique, the differences each segment is seeing in end-customer requests, and the implications and opportunities this presents for CEDIA manufacturer, distributor or rep members in the future.
