The homeowner who contracted Bridger Automation to work on this massive, waterfront property, had three primary goals. The team at Bridger describes those objectives:
“1. Our client planned to share the home with his parents and grand kids, so it was imperative that the control system was very easy to use by all ages. Technology really worried his elderly parents, so a good user interface design with simple flow ensured they felt at ease when operating the system.
“2. The Home Cinema. Due to the design of the house, we were given, a nearly round room to work with. Design and planning was definitely a major task for this room, as we needed to work with both the architect and the builder to create a false wall at the front of the room in allow the 140 inch screen to be mounted.
“3. Entertaining and music was our third major criteria. Our clients have a large family who enjoy entertaining and events — It was a big task to overcome, as a rear yard with over 70 meters of waterfront was always going to be hard to contain and evenly disperse audio. We enlisted the expertise of Amber Technology and the Sonance Landscape products to provide a solution that wrapped the rear of the yard with small satellite speakers and dual subwoofers to give an amazing even flow of music to all areas of the yard and pool area.”
Even with the addition lighting, shading control, a robust home network and Wi-Fi, automated scenes, and much more, Bridger made the task of managing the property and its systems an absolute breeze.
