Electronic Living was tasked with installing an AV solution into a high end, architecturally designed home, without impeding on the décor & interior styling.
All of the devices and systems here are top-of-the-line and the Control4 system ensures terrific ease-of-use.
The audio’s built for easy grouping of rooms, and seven video sources can be sent to the media room, living room, gym, rumpus room, family room and kitchen. One of those sources is the family’s CCTV system.
The network solutions here include no less than six wireless access points throughout this three-story home. Lighting and lighting control, HVAC, access control, an intercom system, alarms, and pool and spa control are all part of this complex system.
Scenes include “Holiday Mode,” which learns the client’s lighting habits and mimics those habits when the homeowners are away to give the impression the residence is occupied.
The integrator also tells us:
“A high-end cinema wasn’t a high priority for the client, in fact it was originally going to just be another TV room. After seeing and experiencing our 130-inch projector screen and setup in our showroom, they wanted the big screen effect.
“Cinema seating was also chosen after the client experienced our showroom and we were able to create a configuration that suited the raised section in the flooring.
CEDIA’s judges said that this project “checks all the boxes,” and was “stylish and sympathetically designed.” The project took the award for Best Integrated Home, Level II ($100,000 to $200,000 AUD), Asia Pacific. Electronic Living Pty Ltd
