FISHERS, Ind. (August 26, 2020) -- Today, CEDIA has announced a new series of virtual education events curated for the design community. Tech X Design, planned for September 23 and October 6, will offer two unique half-day programs to provide designers and architects with an unparalleled opportunity to learn how technology can add value to their projects and drive new business.
“CEDIA is committed to fostering an understanding of home technology with the design community – and providing a platform to learn, earn CEUS, and have open discussion,” said Giles Sutton, CEDIA Senior Vice President of Industry Engagement. “Showcasing how other designers are working with home technology integrators is exactly the goal of Tech X Design. We’ll provide the forum and we want you to immerse yourself in the intersections shared when brilliant design and technology meet.”
Each program will include a mix of panel discussions and professional development sessions, all of which are available for free to attendees.
Sutton adds, “I am particularly excited about the panel sessions that we have pulled together. The impacts of technology in the home are undeniable, but many times, designers and architects don’t know where to start. That is why we’ve set up each panel session to include professionals from the technology space and from the design community. Facilitating an open dialog about what collaboration looks like is the first step to any successful project.”
